Rick's Dressing Room

" Welcome to my world"

The Dressing Room

Rick's Bio

I was born in Keene, NH. because thats where my mom was.  We were pretty close back then.  Dad was a machinist at Kingsbury machine co. and mom did retail work and secretary stuff.  I spent a lot of time growing up as a kid.  I began my education at Wheelock school and attended Keene jr high and Keene high school.  I dropped out of high school  in April of 1979,two months before graduation.  I got my GED and joined the navy, graduating boot camp about the same time my high school friends were graduating high school.
The navy assigned me to VA-75, a squadron of A6 attack bombers.  We were stationed at Oceana Nas. in Virginia Beach Va.  Deployed on board the USS Saratoga, I did sea trials in the Caribbean and a cruise of the Mediterranean.  I worked as a plane captain on the flight deck.  After I got out of the navy I got married, had a daughter, worked a variety of jobs, partied a lot, and got divorced.  I won't go into details, but, I wasn't a very good person back then.
As I said I've done a variety of jobs including,  Furniture mover,  Woodworker,  Metalworker,  Truck driver,  Carnie,  Asphalt worker,  Janitor,  Firefighter,  painter,  Fence installer,  Dishwasher,  Cook,  I even tried my hand at selling Amway but I hated wearing a suit.
I've also pursued a number of hobbies in my life.
Backpacking, camping, rock climbing, bicycle racing, auto racing,(I raced the very first enduro at Monadnock Speedway in the eighties)  music,  photography, and stand-up comedy.  Now, I list stand-up comedy as a hobby because I haven't made any money doing it yet.
I have always been kind of an introvert.  That is, until this TV show started.  It's hard to believe that so many people actually listen to me.  I'm surprised that some people even agree with some of my opinions.
The show has also forced me into having to learn this horrible computer crap, but I'm slowly getting it.
My hope is for my viewers to speak their own opinions and not be afraid to be who they are.
ACCEPT DIVERSITY
THE WORLD IS GREAT BECAUSE EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT
